Fold forming: more or less. If you like that, you should check out some of the work my one teacher has done, and has taught me, we make these sort of ornaments out of brass, aluminum, and copper, the same way, but only hit on the outside of the folds, leaving the spine alone, this slowely bends it into a cresent shape, which when making a complete rotation, can be pried apart with a butter knife (a chisel with the iron version) and twisted. Send me a message if your interested on this technique and I'll give you his instagram, unless you already know it, we're all kind of friends on there lol, faramforge, mt_phillip_metal works, your pal collin miller, and a bunch others.

This has quickly become one of my favorite channels. Super knowledgeable and skilled guy while also being very entertaining while ALSO being shot/filmed really really well. Good music choices, they know when to do montages and when to show the whole thing, great stuff.

Love the projects you do, been watching since before the first move to a new shop in Britain. Only thing I gotta say negative is the song choice in the middle of this video lol. Very discordant, but I sm but one person

The tulip looks fantastic Alec and the way you secured the petals was a great idea!
Also Torbjörn Åhman made an iris that’s pretty awesome a while back if you, or anyone else, would like to check it out.

Personal opinion, the second piece of montage music used in this one was distracting and somewhat jarring. Great build though!

Great job Alec! It's awesome how you can make deadly swords and then the next day make a beautiful flower. You should make a sword with a vine of flowers as the hand guard with a rose at the end of the hilt!

Honestly, I love the complex and big projects. With that said, these are my favorite videos, basic or atleast less complex projects that have a nice flair to them. Kinda relaxing to watch.

the next iteration of this will involve a 32 part series showcasing a different 5 million layer Damascus pattern for each petal, and every leaf will be lined with gold inlays and it will have gemstones set into the middle of the flower.

Alec is a pretty compact guy, but every once in a while I think about how G.D. strong he must be from all the years of swinging that hammer for hours on end... Talk about a core workout, he puts his whole person into each strike.

Alec, I sent an email to your website about Kove Audio a while ago(saw at the end you had a pair on). I’ll say it again. Awesome company. My wife ordered a pair for me for Christmas, and they were sold out, Kove being an awesome business, sent a pair of the wireless earbuds to suffice until the headset was back in stock....for FREE! Have both pairs now and absolutely love them. Thank you for the recommendation and I look forward to getting my hands on one of them beautiful hammers! Keep up the great work buddy!

I love videos like this, its refreshing! I can tell your thoroughly enjoying yourself during these little builds where there isn't so much pressure to get something absolutely perfect. Definitely enjoy seeing these, they also let us viewers see more brainstorming and the use of different techniques and tools that dont apply to typical knife or sword builds! Keep it up! I absolutely love this channel!
