God of War - Raising Kratos: Full Length Feature | PS4

Raising Kratos documents the five-year, herculean effort to reinvent one of the greatest stories in gaming, God of War. Facing an unknown future, Santa Monica Studio took a massive risk, fundamentally changing their beloved franchise and re-establishing their rightful place in video game history. More than just a “making of,” this cinematic journey of second chances rooted in family, sacrifice, struggle and doubt follows game director Cory Barlog and those who chase perfection in art and storytelling. Witness the incredible defeats, the unpredictable outcomes and the down-to-the-wire tension on full display in this true-life redemption story.

This was a really honest and emotional Documenary. It gave me a sense of what it takes to make a outstanding game, these people have worked hard and achieved greatness. But also lost something important on the way. I am thankful for this great game, i loved it so much, i completed every PS Trophy. I hope that these people can recover from their losses and continue beeing great and passionate. I hope to See the next game and love it as well.

This really makes me hope that the gaming industry can go back to much shorter development times with the ps5 and Series X. 5+ years on a single project is just ridiculous and that’s why this generation has been so inconsistent.

When Cory looks at the reviews at the end and starts to cry I cried with him, not kidding even a little. You can't act that, pure human emotion, not just happines, but all emotions got out at once and its beautifull. Congrats to the team on a masterpiece of a game and their dedication. When the tears stop I will have to install the game and go through it for the second time 🙌

1:41:07 BS Corey, this game is lesser without the stories of the older games. Should have rebooted it 100 percent so I didn't have to care anymore. This was the most disappointing thing to hear from you! I was agreeing and feeling great for this whole thing until you say this.
The hardwork, the cost, the whole thing you and the whole team of Santa Monica have been put threw..... Until this moment. Happy it is as great as it should be but this makes me lose interest in a series I love soo much.

Yea its sad. And after reading thru Jason Schrier's report that the production. And that it was close to Bioware's Anthem. There are truly talented people devs at Cdpr. Just look at the all the cool art and design in cyberpunk. But I feel soo sad for them and cant imagine the pain they are going thru after investing 8 years of their life on a project and the result to be what it currently is. I really hope the best for the devs.

The GOW Soundtrack was my mostly played music when I lived in Iceland and went road tripping. Everything went from epic to SUPER EPIC.
On Another note, I am so glad the direction they went with the game and Kratos's growth. I played this game a month after my own mother passed, and it became an incredibly personal experience for me. I don't know how many times I cried in this game. It wasnt just another game I found myself playing, It was overcoming my own emotions, and grief.
